Our Learning Goals

Literacy
*We are currently learning how to write stories (2-5 sentences) by sounding out our words.
*We are currently learning how to make predictions.
We are learning how to write our names.
We are learning about parts of a book.
We are learning how to hold a book.
We are learning how to "finger sweep" words in a book using our magic finger.

Numeracy
*We are currently learning how to count to 20.
*We are currently learning how to add numbers to 10 and beyond.
We are learning how to measure ourselves and items with non-standard units of measurement.
We are learning how to collect, represent, and graph data.
We are learning how to create patterns.
We are learning about shapes!
We are learning how to sort various objects such as buttons, bugs and cubes.

Personal/Social
*We are currently learning how to always do the right thing, even when no one else is watching.
We are learning how to be great friends to our peers.
We are learning about different emotions and how they make us feel.
We are learning how to share.
